Malta 5D is a new generation theatre where you feel the “real” emotions of the movie. In a short time, you may explore the colourful and impressive episodes of the Maltese history and culture, magnified with 3D film, moving seats, water spray, air blasts and leg ticklers. A unique experience for all ages! An exhibition of works by local artists will be on display in the foyer.

    Malta 5D is a 18 minute audio / visual show about the history and culture of Malta The film is screened with real 3 dimensional effects (3D) and passive 3D glasses are provided free with the purchase of a ticket More effects include wind, water, seat movements and scents. The show is available in the following languages: English, Italian, French, Spanish, Dutch, German, Russian, Japanese, Turkish, Hebrew, Chinese, Polish, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, Greek and Hungarian Automated multilingual devices and headsets are provided for multilingual shows free Parents / caretakers of children under the age of 6 have to consult with the duty manager prior to the purchase of tickets Various souvenirs and books are also available for sale Art Exhibition featuring traditional Maltese Balconies is currently on display

    Valletta is easily accessible and various forms of transport are available to reach the capital Route Buses: routes, schedules and pricing are available on www.publictransport.com.mt Ferry Service to and from Sliema: info available on www.vallettaferryservices.com Taxi: Taxi’s are easily available in Republic Street and in front of the Trident fountain Car Parking: Both public and private car parks are available just outside Valletta which is just 7 minutes away from Malta 5D A number of parking spaces allocated for visitors with a disability are found in the vicinity Street parking is also available in the white parking bays Terrain: smooth tarmac and pavements catered for pushchairs and wheelchairs

    Malta 5D is at street level and is easily accessible by all visitors The reception and foyer area are an open plan with just one door which leads to the theatre Seating is available in the foyer area The fire alarm system is both audible and visually enabled Lighting is uniform and is emitted via energy saving spotlights and CFL’s The floor consist of tiles in the reception and foyer area whilst the theatre is carpeted The theatre consist of 64 moving seats and 10 non-moving seats Special wheelchair spaces are available and are very easy to access without any need of help Hand and safety rails are installed in the theatre Toilets are available to visitors free of charge and caters for woman, men and disabled persons They are located on the ground floor and easily accessible from the foyer area The toilets comply with the needs of persons with a disability and are fully equipped with industry standard hand rails, special toilet seat, special basin and mixer handle Soap, toilet paper and paper hand towels are always available The flooring is mostly made up of tiles

    Spectators should be free from high blood pressure, epilepsy, vertigo, motion sickness, severe heart, back or neck problems and other conditions that may be aggravated by this show Pregnant women should not enter Children under 12 have to be accompanied by an adult Non-moving seats are available All health and safety measures will be followed
